Galaxy S10 lineup and the Galaxy A50 also get the latest security update

Samsung is on a whorl today, sending the latest May 2020 security update to a handful of devices. The visitor has been at it since last week and many of its top devices take already received the update.

Information technology's now the Galaxy S10 lineup's plow. All models are at present receiving the latest security update which has also been released for the Galaxy A50, Samsung's top mid-range smartphone from last yr. The update has already been released for both Galaxy Note 10 models.

Samsung releases May 2020 patch for more than devices

Samsung is rolling out firmware version G970FXXS5CTD1, G973FXXS5CTD1 and G975FXXS5CTD1 for the Galaxy S10e, Milky way S10 and the Galaxy S10+ respectively. The G977BXXS4CTD1 firmware is also out for the Galaxy S10 5G. The update has been released in markets across Europe. The May 2020 security patch update is likewise out for the Galaxy A50. Samsung has released firmware version A505FNXXS4BTCA for the device. It'south currently rolling out in Europe and should be available for the device in other markets as well. This firmware is also bachelor for download from our database.

Samsung hasn't detailed the May 2020 security patch as yet then it's unclear precisely what fixes it brings. However, that hasn't stopped the company from releasing the update for a scattering of devices, including but non limited to the Galaxy Fold and the Milky way Z Flip.
